What is a financial statement and how to read it?

You'll learn what a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement are—and how to read them. You'll also learn basic concepts like CAPEX and OPEX, profit, and expert opinion.

Revenue analysis

You'll learn where your company's revenue comes from and how to assess which sources are stable and profitable. You'll be able to analyze changes in sales, recognize seasonality, and respond to declines or increases with greater confidence.

Cost analysis

You'll discover simple ways to see where money is going in your company. You'll learn to distinguish between fixed and variable costs, assess which activities are profitable and which generate unnecessary expenses—without delving into complicated spreadsheets.

Analysis of the company's financial situation

You'll learn to look at a company through the lens of numbers. You'll learn how to interpret financial data to determine whether an organization is operating stably, experiencing liquidity issues, debt, or has room for investment. You'll understand the risks that can threaten results—both internal and external. We'll also show you how to predict the future based on market data, industry trends, and the company's past performance.

Budgeting

You'll discover a simple and effective way to budget. You'll learn how to plan your expenses, monitor budget implementation, and make informed financial decisions—even when you need to react quickly to changes.

Analysis of investment projects

You'll learn how to assess whether a planned investment is profitable. You'll learn how to evaluate project profitability using NPV, IRR, and payback period methods. You'll be able to compare various investment options and present their financial justification. You'll gain the tools to make informed decisions about capital allocation within your organization.

Anna Gliwińska

Over 20 years of experience in finance roles, including CFO, transformation, and management roles, and as an international finance coach. She has worked for multinational corporations such as UBS, Capgemini, and HSBC.

Outside Poland, she worked as Head of Regulatory Reporting & Change, where she was responsible for adapting financial processes to the changing requirements of the European Central Bank.

She is constantly developing his knowledge and competences, currently focusing on topics related to ESG and the use of AI to build a competitive advantage.

She completed higher education with a specialization in Financial Management.

Additionally, she has international ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualifications in the area of international finance.

She enjoys long walks, bicycle trips and trips to the mountains.

Aneta Pilch

Over 25 years of experience in leadership roles, strategic planning and change management in the financial sector (HSBC, UBS, Universal-Investment).

Aneta spent over 17 years in the US, and since returning to Poland in 2007, she has been building organizations distinguished by a well-thought-out operational strategy and high employee engagement.

Currently, she focuses on AI-based organizational leadership.

She studied economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned an MBA from the same university. Additionally, she participated in training at the University of Chicago Booth School of Management in negotiation and decision-making and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in managing artificial intelligence in organizations.

Aneta loves her garden, Koshi bells, windsurfing, and lectures at the Dominican College of Philosophy and Theology in Krakow.
